"This public prerelease is an opportunity for developers and consumers to test and provide early feedback to Adobe on new features, enhancements, and compatibility with previously authored content. Once you’ve installed Flash Player 10 beta, you can view interactive demos. You can also help make Flash Player better by visiting all of your favorite sites, making sure they work the same or better than with the current player."
If things don't work, and there will be things that don't work, tell Adobe about it, not VT. If you don't want to be a Beta Tester, than don't install this plugin.

THIS beta is working for me... - Version: 10.0.0.536, 7/11/2008 12:21AM PST

UmarOMC1Uninstall Flash Player 9. Install Flash Player 10 beta. Repair Permissions.
The last time around videos remained FUBAR'd, perhaps it's working is a part of this rebuild (as per the description of what's new in this rebuild), perhaps it was the Permissions Repair–I'd likely thank the rebuild but either way it seems to be working now and I'll stick with Flash Player 10 beta for now.
...side note; diablo3.com doesn't seem to recognize Flash Player (ANY version) via Firefox (even utilizing User Agent Switcher) but worked fine via Safari. :P

To start with I downloaded this latest beta update and now any Flash files that contains video, have this strange green mess, making it impossible to view. That's a large portion of videos these days.
I tried accessing one of the previous stable releases on Version Tracker, but even when you're looking at the version 9 page, the download link remains the same (beta version 10).
Also when I got to the Adobe site and try to download Flash Player, the file never downloads. The download always times out. The file is only tiny and I'm on a superfast 30Mbps Cable connection. I've tried both Firefox and Safari but it makes no difference. This has been an ongoing problem for the past 12 months.
You might be thinking, so contact Adobe and they'll help. Well think again. I bought a full copy of Adobe CS3 Production Premium (which cost a small fortune) and I logged an official help support ticket for assistance with updating my address details. That was like 8 months ago, and they still haven't provided me with any assistance. I even logged additional support tickets, a complete waste of time.
The company sucks
