What's new in this version:

This version adds support for a number of webcams. In particluar the PS3 Eye, which requires USB2, but has a phenomenal picture. There is better support for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), as the NSLock console warning messages should be gone. The driver for the PAC207 has been improved in many ways, this chip is used in many cheap webcams.

macam ReviewNo support for Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision! - Version: 0.9.1, 3/22/2008 11:22PM PST

This is the only webcam that Apple currently sells, and macam doesn't work with it.
Logitech didn't make sure to make the webcam compatible with iMovie and other apple applications. This is ridiculous.

macam Troubleshooting Reportmacam app works, but no joy with component - Version: 0.9.1, 7/20/2007 07:55PM PST

fonefixdirect
Macam app works great, but can't get the .component to work. I'm using OSX 10.3.9, macam 0.9.1 and vimicro generic camera.

I have tried removing all other QT components but cannot get the camera to be detected with Camspinner, BTV, Skype, or EVOcam.

Interestingly the .component comes up as a folder - not the 'lego' looking icon as seen in screenshots.

Anyone have a solution?? I have searched the web and come accross several other people with this problem, but no solution...
