Finally! - Version: 1.12a, 10/10/2008 09:19AM PST

Like many of you who had problems in the past with the 1.11b version on a Intel platform. This new release allows me to finally play the game without the video being all distorted or just completely crashing. Im not completely sold on the OpenGL 1 million colors option. I ran it once and it crashed after about 30min of real play. Since then I have not had any problems. The Installing of the patch went smoothly. Best advice read the directions for how to install it correctly using the carbon installer I know that was a hickup for me. And I can also run the game without the CD in it now SWEET!

Diablo II - Version: 1.12a, 7/22/2008 07:37AM PST

Tried on a Intel 1.66 Mini with 10.5.4, Diablo II loaded fine and updated to 1.12a easily. Game would start, allow the picking of a character and take you to the first level, Then crash 10 seconds after your character starts walking. By crash I mean kernel attack, reboot the machine crash. Great game just didn't play on this machine with this OS. I did not try playing in software mode, since I have a older machine that plays the game just fine.

Using a Mac Pro 2.66 Quad with 4 GB RAM, and running 10.5.3 with all updates. D2: LoD crashes when launched. Reinstalled the entire game, and reapplied 1.12a. Reverted to 1.11b, still crashes. Anyone got ideas?
