Product Description:
DynDNS Updater is a Mac OS X client for use with the free and paid services provided by DynDNS. Based originally on DNSUpdate by Julien Jalon, DynDNS Updater brings new features and is designed to work exclusively with services from DynDNS.

What's new in this version:
- Fixed bug where a host or account could be set inactive if an error occurred while updating hosts.
- Fixed a bug where a host could potentially not update if the IP changed while the daemon isn't running.
- Fixed the Check IP update URL.
- A few minor text changes to make error messages more descriptive.
- Made the interface IP checking code a bit more robust.

As of 1/6/2007 VersionTracker is still downloading 1.2 (even though it says 2.0).
You can get the 2.0 version from:

Then DynDNS update for Apple came along- and what a relief that was! I didn't have to update my IP by surfing to the DynDNS site anymore- the app did it automatically.
Today I updated with the latest version, 2.3, and WOW! I love it.
The look is so smooth, the documentation is written for both advanced types (me) and neophytes- so if you are is setting up this (esoteric to most folks) service for the first time- they hold your hand and explain everything! The widget for DashBoard is most stylish. Very cool.
I highly recommend this latest incarnation of DynDNS Update...
