Syncman ReviewIf you use Gmail...you need SyncMan - Version: 1.1, 7/14/2008 03:10AM PST

Every so often an application comes along that actually changes your life...or at least makes your life easier and you wonder how you ever lived without it. SyncMan is one of those rare one-trick ponies that does exactly what it's created to do...perfectly!

As do many, I rely heavily on Gmail but I hate how it automatically adds contacts for every sent email, like replying to a support message, etc. No one wants all that stuff in their contacts...we generally want the same contacts in Gmail that are in our desktop Address Books.

SyncMan does this...and does it either in a completely automatic mode at any schedule you want, or you can monitor various things and manually confirm them (you will be in the auto mode very soon when you see how accurate SyncMan is). My sincere thanks to the folks at Wateree Software, who have developed this gem and who are kind enough to even answer emails, should you need to talk to them.

seems like a nice product but i can't find anyway to have it sync the address books on a shedule. That would make it far more powerful for a forgetful person such as myself :)
