Adobe DNG Converter & Camera Raw 4.0 (Mac OS X)
This does not work with Elements 4.0. The release notes list Elements 4.01 as a pre-requisite, yet Adobe's updater indicates I am up-to-date. I tried anyway, and now the Camera Raw plug-in is simply not recognized. I had to copy back the 3.7 version. [alert admin]

SpeedTools ATA Hi-Cap Driver 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Owning a G4 (digital audio) without large disk support, this seems intriguing as a way to use all of my 160 GB disk. Intech's kext would allow me to create a second 32 GB partition, but the first partition must still fit completely in the first 128 GB of the disk so that OS X can boot from it. And it requires the OS 9 version for a dual boot machine like mine. All in all, more than I paid for my external firewire case. So I'm still stuck with the limitation's of my G4's ROM, and I gave up on partitions a long time ago, after endless shuffling of data across partitions to make space where I needed it when I needed it. For now, I think I'll stick with my external firewire drive.... how about a ROM patch, Intech??? [alert admin]

Zingg! 1.3 (Mac OS X)
This utility still works wonderfully, is far more useful than Apple's own attempt, and it keeps getting better! It works great on my 10.2.8 machine with a separate partition for OS 9. On my 10.3.2 machine (all on one partition), every classic application shows up twice in the list with identical paths. Apart from this weirdness in the configuration view, it still works perfectly from the Finder's contextual menu. Thanks Ray! [alert admin]

1.2 doesn't work with Chicken of the VNC
That was it! I re-downloaded, installed, and restarted the server. Now it works fine both from my win2k realvnc at work and chicken of the VNC at home.

1.2 doesn't work with RealVNC Either
I have the same problem accessing from my work machine (running RealVNC under win2K). It spontaneously disconnects after accepting my password, and will not connect again after that. The vnc server seems, at that point, to go into an infinite loop just sucking up 90%+ of the CPU. Restarting the machine and restarting the server process both made no difference -- at least on my 10.2.6 based beige G3 (w/ G4-466). Falling back to version 1.11 works…
