Delicious Library 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Wow, lots of whining. And some issues from others? Not for me. It works great, much faster (scans from my iSight almost as fast as I can put books up there). Yeah, the notice about using 10.5.3 is a little weird, but hopefully that update will drop soon too. I purchased the $20 upgrade, well worth it to me. [alert admin]

Ascent 1.9.3 (Mac OS X)
This application is just awesome, and it continues to improve with each revision. If you own a bike, road or mountain, and a Garmin GPS, you can NOT be without with application. Worth every penny and more. [alert admin]

Together 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Excellent product, full featured with a great user interface. The 2.1 update adds great productivity tools. Incredible support from the developer. Highly recommended. [alert admin]

Outspring Mail 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Unlike the previous poster, I would not hesitate to pay good money for a quality, high-powered email client. But Outspring is not it. So this version seems more stable. They added signatures. But it's still missing WAY too many features to be considered a power application, and that's the only way to compete in this market. No filters/rules. No smart mailboxes. And, most amazing to me: no menu item to get email! There are menu items for replying, forwarding, deleting, delaying, but not for checking my email? I have to click and icon? Am I missing something here? [alert admin]

ReceiptWallet 2.0.0 (Mac OS X)
ReceiptWallet was already a gem of an application. This upgrade is awesome. Not only does it make ReceiptWallet much more powerful, it just gave me DocumentWallet for FREE! This application is so useful for storing receipts for taxes. I find it the MOST useful application come tax time of any I have ever tried to help me manage my records. It's elegant. [alert admin]

Leap 1.0b5 (Mac OS X)
Intriguing file management tool
I would recommend that the developers do NOT bill this as a Finder replacement. It doesn't feel like I would ever consider replacing my Finder with Leap (as one might, for example, with Path Finder). But that said, Leap is a very intriguing application. It takes a bit of a conceptual shift to see its potential, but once you do -- see files anywhere on your drive, tagging, finding by tags and then viewing by several different views -- you'll see how Leap could really become indispensable. I tried Leap several months ago, before Leopard. It's much faster now, I guess because it relies on Spotlight, and Apple gave Spotlight a kick in the pants with Leopard. I own Yep, love it for PDF management. I can easily see purchasing Leap for extending this power and flexibility to all my files. [alert admin]

Saft for Safari 3 Public Beta 9.0b3 (Mac OS X)
The new demo version for compatibility with Safari 3.02 is downloadable. But the link for the full, paid version still leads to the old version of Saft, not compatible with Safari 3.02. I hope the paid version upgrade appears soon. [alert admin]

Wow. A crutch? Not only is the price beyond you, it seems like the entire purpose of this application is beyond you. Sure, it relies on Spotlight. But the power it gives me is way beyond what I can easily access with Spotlight.

You've got to be kidding me. Have you actually tried this application to see what kind of capabilities it has?

Roxio Is Starting to Act Like Microsoft & Apple
Of course, there is always the possibility of BACKING UP your computer, and your purchased applications. Then you don't have to rely on Roxio or pay them money again for something you already purchased. I don't quite get the point of giving the application one star because you failed to take precautions to preserve your purchases.

Why does anyone buy this app these days?
and.... woohooo!!! You've saved 3 MB. How anyone can possibly think that Spotlight comes close to duplicating the functionality of LaunchBar is beyond me. Apparently you don't really use LaunchBar for all its capabilities.

The 6.5.1 version fixes the delete problem, but this commenter is absolutely correct: does anyone test this application? This kind of stuff does NOT instill confidence. Tried it, deleted it (at least it said it deleted it, who knows, maybe it deleted the next application in the folder, lol).

I think the same thing happened to me too -- Lightroom seemed really zippy before, now it's slower than Aperture (which I own). But it also extended my expired 30-day demo, so I get to try it out again, and that's cool.
